Gameplay Systems
Physics-Based Token System
Designed and implemented a physics-driven token system where coins dynamically interact with bumpers, walls, and gameplay elements to generate satisfying chain reactions and increasing rewards. Different token tiers visually evolved based on value progression to reinforce gameplay feedback and player excitement.
Idle Economy & Progression Design
Developed an incremental economy system combining arcade gameplay with idle progression mechanics. Players could automate income growth through upgrades, scaling rewards, and optimized board layouts while continuously unlocking stronger progression systems and higher-value gameplay loops.
Upgrade & Bumper Placement Mechanics
Built a strategic bumper placement system allowing players to position additive and multiplier bumpers across the board to optimize token paths and maximize profits. Upgrade systems encouraged experimentation and long-term progression through increasingly powerful board combinations.
Gameplay Feedback & Visual Juice
Created responsive visual feedback systems including token scaling, tier upgrades, particle effects, and animated UI interactions to make gameplay feel impactful and rewarding. Visual clarity and satisfying reactions were prioritized to reinforce progression and maintain player engagement during long gameplay sessions.
